Graduate departments throughout the University of Florida participate
in a concurrent degree program that leads to the award of two
degrees. Our Department
offers concurrent programs in planning and preservation and
planning and design. A student interested in pursuing two degrees
must work closely with faculty advisors to develop a course of study, and receive approval from the chairpersons of each department
and from the Dean of the Graduate School.
In cooperation with the College of Law, the Department offers
a four-year program leading to a Juris Doctor and a Master of
Arts in Urban and Regional Planning degree. Students must follow
the regular admission procedure and apply separately to the
College of Law and the Department of Urban and Regional Planning.
