Position/Location: Assistant Estimator 1/Located here in Gainesville

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: ASSISTANT ESTIMATOR 1

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Researching and identifying appropriate jobs to bid
2. Collecting all necessary bid information from appropriate jobs and transferring to Estimator
3. Tracking all pending job estimates
4. Additional responsibilities will be given as appropriate with demonstrated abilities

SKILLS REQUIRED:

1. Great attitude, willingness to pitch in where needed and work well in teams
2. Ability to interact well with people in person and on the phone
3. Ability to stay focused on tasks until completed
4. Good organizational skills, with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
5. Basic computer and internet knowledge with a good understanding of Microsoft Word, and Excel

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

1. Basic understanding of construction industry with some knowledge of painting would be helpful
