We are searching for
an ambitious, energetic and educated person to fill the position of Project
Management Administrator at our hotel.
The right person
will have a degree in Building Construction Management of Facilities
Management. The job entails the
development of specifications, schedules, bid applications, building charts and
such relative to renovation and new construction projects in a resort hotel
application.
We plan to spend a
little over $60 million over the next several years in such projects as a
guestroom/corridor renovation, restaurant and lobby renovation, meeting room
renovation, new construction of 25,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, new
construction of a spa, pool and recreation area renovation and others.
The chosen candidate
must be able to converse and understand design and architectural needs,
identify areas of conflict and propose solutions for resolution. He/she will be responsible for all
construction related purchases and accounting for payments to contractors and
subs. The proper person should be
familiar with Florida Construction and Lien Laws as well as OSHA,
This position could
lead to an Assistant Director of Engineering or Director of Engineering
position within 3-5 years in the hospitality industry. A background or understanding of facilities
maintenance is helpful. We are looking
to fill this position during the 1st quarter of 2008.
