Senior Project Management Consultant (PMC)

ENPRO Consulting, Inc., a leading provider of Primavera P6, Primavera Cost Management, and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) for the public/private sectors, has a long term consulting assignment supporting the PMO for a Fortune 250 Defense contractor located in the Orlando, FL area. This position, reporting to the PMO Lead, involves direct support to the functional area managers (Control Account Managers or CAMs) including Primavera P6 planning, scheduling, resourcing, estimating, budgeting, earned value, and funds status for major defense projects. In addition, the PMC is responsible for communicating project, work request and performance report metrics/status to the client (or CAM) on an ongoing basis.

To be considered, the successful candidate will have a BS degree in a technical or business related discipline and five or more years progressive project management and/or project controls experience (preferred). The “ideal” candidate will have previous defense/military service or experience (preferably “boots on the ground” army), experience on large defense projects/contracts, have an inquisitive nature motivated to engage in issue resolution through “root cause” analysis type efforts, have the ability to integrate labor resources and processes to get tasks done on time/budget, be a proactive, self starter, have the capability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage your own workload, track/expedite key project drivers, and have strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. Expertise in the application of MS Excel (including integration with other data sources), PowerPoint, WORD, and web portals a big plus.
