Please remember that
the Albergo Due Mori and Albergo Palladio serve as housing for Italian
tourists, buisness people and students. The hotels' rules are set up to
protect all of the hotel guests from excessive noise and distrubances.
These rules are STRICTLY ENFORCED by hotel management and
by the VIA director. Any FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE RULES CAN RESULT IN
BOTH EVICTION FROM THE HOTEL AND FROM THE VIA PROGRAM. In cases of
eviction, no refund of program fees will be granted.
- Noise
must be kept to a minimum at all times. Excessive noise
(high volumn music, loud talking, singing or laughing) )is forbidden.
- Only
quiet
activities are permitted from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am
weekdays, 12:00 midnight to 7:00 am Saturday, and from 1:30
pm to 3:30 pm every day for siesta.
- Students
are not allowed to have guests (even other VIA participants) in their
hotel during the evening quiet hours.
- Students'
guests and visitors are permitted to stay the night only if they leave
an ID (passport) with reception and make arrangements to pay for the
normal cost of the hotel room in which they will stay. Hotel management
reserves the right to refuse any such overnight guests; in addition,
the VIA Program is not responsible in any event for any overnight stays
or any consequences brought on by them.
- Telephone
calls may be received after 11:00 pm only in the case of emergency.
- No
alcoholic beverages are permitted on the premises
- Disorderly
conduct of any type will not be permitted.
- Entry
into private areas of the hotel or the rooms of any other guests is
forbidden.
- Floors
and beds must be kept free of objects that would prevent the cleaning
crew from being able to change linens and sweep the floors.
- Cooking
of any sort is not permitted in the bedrooms.
- Rooms
are assigned at check-in and cannot be changed without prior authorization
from the directors hotel management and the VIA Director, Franca Stocco.
Familiarize yourself
with the hotel rules. If you feel you cannot abide by them, please notify
me so that I can cancel your participation in the program. The hotels will
notify the VIA Director of any rule infraction. Individuals violating these
rules will not be permitted to infringe upon the rights of other hotel guests.
