German pavilion of 1929, Barcelona
architect: Mies van der Rohe
Close to De Stijl painting, it is a series of planes in space. Very classic, has a strong base, a strong entablature although it is not symmetrically organized. Rich, colorful marble was used for walls, along with chrome-plated columns.
Main exhibit besides the building was Mies famous Barcelona chair.
